  • Contributions: Developed hypersonic weapons, advanced fighter jets like the F-35, space systems, and missile defense systems like THAAD.

  • Paid By DoD:  The largest defense contractor, receiving approximately $46.2 billion in contracts for fiscal year 2023.

 2. Raytheon Technologies
